Deathmatch 7: Domino Black and White:

In this game players must aim to make 3 in a row that sums to a multiple of 5. Each player will start with one copy of each of the 21 domino combo's. Each side can have a number from 0 to 5. When placing domino's the even numbers will appear as black, and the odd number will appear as white.

Players will take turns placing dominos into a 7x9 grid with the bottom 2 corners removed and added to the top. The dominos are effected by gravity. (see bottom for image)

Placing Dominos

Dominos may be placed vertically or horizontally. Dominos are placed in a similar format to Tetris (but not exactly). That is if there is a path that doesn't require rotation, the piece may be placed, even if it goes under a already placed peice. For example, you can place a domino vertically in spaces marked with X, but you can't place a domino horizontally in the spaces marked with Y.

Players also choose to hide the number on one side of the domino.

You may not place a domino in AR unless either BS or CR contains part of a domino. Similarly, you may not place a domino in RI unless either HS or GR contains part of a domino. (these are the coords with the new board)

Scoring:

Players take turns to place a domino in the grid and choose to hide 1 side of the domino on the grid. The hidden side will appear as black or white based on the number with a question mark.

Once the dominos is placed, we look at the surrounding area to see if they score.

Players gain 1 point for each of the following that hold:

H:If the domino forms 3 in a row horizontally that sums to 0, 5,10 or 15.

V:If the domino forms 3 in a row vertically that sums to 0, 5,10 or 15.

D:If the domino forms 3 in a row diagonally that sums to 0, 5, 10 or 15.

B:Players will receive an additional point if at least one of these conditions was met by summing to 0 or 15.

This includes hidden numbers, that players can't see.

Players will be told which of the conditions were met. (HVBD)

For example in the above image:

X is where the domino is.

Green H is horizontal check, there are 3 per half domino.

Red V is vertical check, there are 3 per half domino.

Blue D is diagonal check, there are 6 per half domino.

This check is repeated for the other half domino.

The Turn then passes to the opponent.

This keeps going till all dominos are placed or no more dominos can be placed in the grid.

The winner is the player with the most points. In the case of a tie, the winner is the player who placed the last domino.

The player with DM advantage will decide who goes first.

There is a 2 min time limit per turn, with 10 mins reserve time. (If you run out of reserve time, you lose the DM)

Submission format is:

(#,#) Domino, DZ:EX, Hide (#)

(specifying location in case of doubles)
