In this game, players will play 5 rounds of Rock Paper Scissors on a 4x4 board.

Placing symbols must follow these rules:

  • Each symbol will be either Rock, Paper or Scissors.
  • Each symbol will belong to one of the 2 players.
  • No Row or Column may contain more than 3 symbols.
  • No Row or Column may contain more than 2 symbols owned by 1 player.
  • Once every Row or Column contains at least 2 symbols, the round ends.
  • If there are no valid moves for a player to place a symbol, they skip their placing turn.
  • If a player skips their placing turn twice in a row in a round, the round ends.

Afterwards we evaluate the board.

We will compare the results of all match ups on each Row, Column and Diagonal. This means there 10 matchups each round.

This is done by comparing all of one players symbols, with all of the other players symbols.

Afterwards the player who wins more matchups gains 1 point.

If players win an equal number of matchups no points are given out.

At the end of the 5 rounds whoever has more points wins the Final Match.

If there is a tie in points the player with the advantage wins the Final Match.

Now you may be wondering about the gaps in some of the rules.

This is because each of the 5 rounds will have a different minigame for the placing of symbols.

The rules will be released at the start of the round, and players will have 5 minutes to read, review and ask questions.

Clarification on Matchups:

Any symbols vs no symbols, results in a point for player owning the symbols.

Otherwise we resolve by checking each pair, so:

R vs RP = right wins

R vs PS = draw

RP vs RS = left wins
