In this Death Match, slowly build out a train track in such a way that you can be the one to complete it, without making it impossible. (Original design from The Genius show)

Two tiles that form a train station are laid out in front of the players. Each turn, the player can lay down one to three tiles. Unlike the original version of Monorail, tiles will be taken from a set of 20. There are only two different types of tiles: a curve and a straight line. The tiles that are laid down by a player must be in a straight line and must connect to the existing pieces forming the board. The tiles cannot block off one of the already existing lines.
The first player to complete a single loop wins the game. However, there is a second win condition as well.
After a player completes their turn, the other player may determine that the game cannot be completed with the remaining tiles. In this case, they can declare that the game is impossible to complete. Once done, the other player has the opportunity to use any and all remaining tiles to complete a loop. If they complete the loop, they win. If they cannot, the player that declared the game impossible wins.
Grid-based (The game involves play on a grid.)
Nim-like (The game takes elements from the mathematical game of strategy Nim.)
Strategy (The game tests the players' strategic & tactical abilities.)
Turn-based (The game involves players taking turns one after another.)

In Monorail V2, you will be constructing a train track using 24 tiles on a 8x8 board.
The game is simple: on your turn, you must place 1-3 tiles. Each tile you play must be adjacent to an existing tile already on the gameboard; and if you play multiple the tiles must all be played in a contiguous straight line, though the tracks themselves on those tiles need not connect.
Once a tile is used, it is gone and will not be replaced. There are 8 turn tiles, 8 straight tiles, and 8 crossroads tiles. These tiles may be rotated 90 degrees, but once they are placed on the board their orientation is fixed.
There are three ways to win the game.
1) You connect all tracks on the board so they fit perfectly in a complete circuit.
2) After your opponent's turn, they place tracks in such a way that it is now impossible to create a circuit including all tracks being connected., and you call "impossible."
3) Your opponent calls "impossible", and you create a complete circuit incorporating all tracks on the board using the remaining pieces within the next five minutes.
The winner will receive all of their opponents garnets and the loser will be eliminated.
DM Note: the train tracks used may or may not be changed the next time this dm is played.
