Your eighth Main Match is Saving Faces.

In this game you will place blocks on a 3-dimensional grid, trying to have as many blocks' faces of your color show

At the start of this game, you will be assigned 1 of 4 colors.

Red, Blue, Yellow, or Green.

The player in the oppoite set as you with the same color will be your teammate for this game.

Each round will last 12 minutes.

The first 6 minutes of a round, you will only be able to talk privately to your teammate.

The second 6 minutes of a round will have you talking to the people in your set, and doing your submission for the round.

Both sets will have their own 5x5x5 grid, both having a black block in the center.

The X-axis will be labeled A-E

The Y-Axis is 1-5

And the Z-Axis is Alpha-Epsilon (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon)

Using this, the center black block in on C, 3, Gamma

Each board is unique to their own set, and may differ from the one in the opposite set depending on submissions.

Once per round, players will submit a block of their team's color to place on the grid.

You may only place on blocks that are already existing on the board.

If you place a block in the same space as another player in your set, both blocks are not placed.

However, if you place in the same place as your teammate from the other set, you'll gain a bonus point!

Each block you place has 4 sides denoting +1 point, and 2 sides opposite from each other denoting +2 points.

Scores for teams are calculated by looking at all 6 faces of the grid, and calculating the visible point gains from all the blocks.

And when submitting your block, let us know which orientation the +2 sides are facing.

Each player also has one Black Block they may place during any submission round.

This block is to block off your opponents visible block faces.

Also, if you place this in the same place as your teammate, you'll gain an extra 2 points for your team, as well as 2 garnets each!

Additionally, once throughout the whole game, you can declare to swap sets with your teammate after the first 6 minutes of a round.

Both team members must agree to this, and if you wish to swap a second time, it'll cost 3 garnets.

Once you've decided to swap, once the first 6 minutes are over, you'll be placed in the opposite set.

The team with the most points via visible faces from blocks, and team combo points will win a CoL each.

The team with the least points will each be an Elimination candidate for their own set, and must select a DMO from their set, where two Death Matches will be played simultaneously, and the losers of the Death Matches will face off for one last Match this episode.
