Main Match 1: Bouquet Arrangement
SUMMARY
✏️ This symbol indicates more specific rules and clarifications that are not covered in the summary. This symbol will be used for all games to indicate such rules and clarifications.
STRUCTURE
In each of the 3 rounds, a player will privately add a flower to their bouquet they have not previously chosen.
✏️ Note that this means a bouquet will have an amount of flowers equal to the current round number.
In Round 1/2/3, a player will privately select 2/3/4 other players they have not previously selected to form bouquet pairs with. Each player in the bouquet pair will score points based on the specific flower rules.
✏️ Do note that if two players select each other in the same pair, the scoring for that bouquet pair would trigger twice.
✏️ You are required to select the maximum number of players you can each round. If you do not select the maximum number of players each round, you will be penalized with a Mark of Elimination. Additionally, you will not be able to complete any contracts for this episode.
Each round, a player may guess how many points they think they will gain that round. They will be informed on if their prediction was less than, equal to, or greater than the actual amount of points they gained that round.
✏️ As a reminder, you are NOT allowed to share any host provided images directly with other players.
FLOWERS
Azalea - The other player gains 2 points.
Chrysanthemum - Gain points equal to the number of rounds (including this round) you had this.
Hyacinth - Gain 3 points if the other player doesn’t have this flower.
Wisteria - Gain points equal to the number of players overall without this flower in their bouquet, divided by 3 (rounded down).
Xanthium - Gain points equal to the number of flowers that appear exactly once in the pair.
ENDGAME
✏️ Players will be ranked based on the total amount of points they have at the end of Round 3. Ties are not allowed; ties are broken by the player who was faster on the tiebreaker minigame ranking higher (with one exception: a player with faster time would have priority for being ranked last).
The three lowest ranked players without a ToL are the ECs.
✏️ As a reminder, for this ORG, all ToLs and ECs are hidden.
TIEBREAKER MINIGAME RULES
✏️ You will be asked a question based on the rules of the MM. Please familiarize yourself with them. This tiebreaker minigame should be done in Round 1.
✏️ The correct answer is a singular integer. Only one submission will be allowed; the first integer you submit will be considered your final answer. An incorrect answer has a 15 second penalty per difference between your answer and the correct answer.
✏️ You are NOT allowed to discuss any specifics of the tiebreaker with any other player until Round 1 is over.
CONTRACTS
Please pick exactly one of the following contracts to sign during Round 1.
Contract of Domination
You have been privately informed of two other players (for this contract). Pick one of them, and have strictly more points than them.
Reward: 1 Shard
Contract of Individuality
At the end of Round 3, have a unique bouquet.
Reward: 1 Shard
Contract of Foresight
Correctly predict how many points you gain in either Round 2 or 3.
Reward: 2 Shards
CLARIFICATIONS
Clarification: Both players score points from their flowers in a bouquet pair, regardless of which player in the pair submitted the other. In other words, for a given bouquet pair, it does not matter which player submitted the other player; both players will earn points according to the flower rules.
Do keep in mind that flowers still only give points to the player they belong to, except for Azalea which only gives points to the other player (in the bouquet pair).
Clarification: Here are some specific definitions that may help with understanding:
A bouquet pair consists of two bouquets, and is what is used in point calculation.
A bouquet consists of some number of flowers (equal to the round number), and each player has one bouquet.
Clarification: Bouquets are unordered; that means the order of the flowers picked does not matter. This is only relevant for the Contract of Individually.
