In this game, players must attempt to form 3 card hands that are higher valued than your opponent.

This game will be played with 120 cards, each containing 2 triangles.

The triangles point to each of the eight, 45-degree cardinal directions.

The triangles have one of two colours, either be solid or clear.

No card has the same symbol on in twice.

-

A list of every single card can be seen below:

At the start of the first round each player is dealt 4 cards.

-

Rounds take place as follows:

A triangle is publicly revealed. This symbol is shared by both players.

Both players each choose 1 symbol from a card. This is then publicly revealed.

Both players each choose 1 symbol from another card. This is then publicly revealed.

Both players each choose 1 symbol from either of the 2 cards they have played.

The remaining unused symbol is discarded.

Both players compare their hands which are made up of the 3 symbols they played plus the shared symbol.

Whoever has a higher valued hand scores points based on the strength of the opponents’ hand.

After this, players are dealt 2 replacement cards, and we begin again.

-

The hands are ranked as follows, from highest to lowest:

A Flush is when all symbols involved in the hands rank have the same colour.

An X Set Rotate is when you can go between all X many symbols with a same angle rotation.

A 4 of a Kind is where all triangles point the same direction.

A 3 of a Kind is where 3 triangles point the same direction.

A Pair is where 2 triangles point the same direction.

-

If your hand ranks higher than your opponents, you gain points equal to the strength of your opponents’ hand. (the number on the left) If 2 hands are of the same rank, the one which contains the symbol closest to 12oClock Clockwise is ranked higher. In other words:

-

The shared symbols are determined in the following way:

The 16 unique triangles are placed into a random order to be dealt between rounds 1 and 16.

This is shown and revealed to both players.

After 2 minutes the order is hidden again, and players must use their memory of upcoming symbols to best organise their hand.

After 16 hands, this is done again for rounds 17 to 32.

-

The game continues until 32 rounds have passed.

Whoever has the highest score at this point wins.

If the scores are tied, whichever player has 2/3 of the Final Items for this game wins.

Players select which triangles they wish to use by giving the corresponding letters.

Players have 1 minute each choice to select from when their hands are posted.
