The Chips Are Down

In this game players will aim to obtain chips during rounds 1 to 3.

With these chips you will place them on on 12x12 square grid during rounds 2 to 4.

The chips come in 5 different colours. There are 4 Standard colours: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow. There is also the wild colour of Purple chips.

Your aim is to make as many lines of length 4 that contain each of the standard colour of chips exactly once. Lines can be Horizontal, Vertical or Diagonal.

Players start with 1 chip of each standard colour.

Any chips gained in round 1 must be placed during the round 2 placing submission. (+ starting chips)

Any chips gained in round 2 must be placed during the round 3 placing submission.

Any chips gained in round 3 must be placed during the round 4 placing submission.

Purple chips may be used as any colour of chip. You must state what the colour should be.

It is recommended you submit via an image for placing chips. Any chips you still have (not placed) after a placing submission are discarded. If you place too many of a colour of chip, we will remove chips of that colour in reverse reading order.

During rounds 3, each player may choose 2 squares for each of your opponents boards where a chip has already been placed.

That chip is then removed. It may only be replaced in a future placing submission with a chip of a different colour.

If 2 players choose the same square, a random adjacent square will have it's chip removed.

The player with the most lines at the end of the round 4 wins the MainMatch.

They gain a Token of Life and 1 garnet. The remaining 2 players will go to the Deathmatch.

If this is a tie, the tie is first broken by total chips accumulated.

Then most purple chips accumulated.

Then who had most lines after r3, then r2.

If still then we go without a ToL, and EC is checked with the opposites of the above.

Players may purchase chips for garnets from round 2 onwards.

Chips bought with garnets must be placed in the same round they were bought.

When buying chips you may choose the colour of the chips, however you can only purchase each colour of chip once.

There are many different ways to obtain chips, the rules for each are outlined in the respective channels in this categories.

Please make sure you read these carefully and submit for all of them as missing out can be a large setback.

You will be told your chip totals privately at the end of each round.

Each round will last 24 hours, however I will end the 4th round early if everyone submits.
