DM2: BETTING ROCK PAPER SCISSORS SPONGE
In this very awesome Death Match, players will play a game of Betting RPS — but with sponges in the mix.
There will be 17 rounds. 16 rounds will be against players, and one will be against a pre-determined card SPONGE.
The DMO, @XNimus, will choose who goes first. Players start with 1 chip. Players will alternate taking turns. During their turn, a player may choose to BET or PLAY. If you choose to BET, your opponent will PLAY. If you choose to PLAY, your opponent will BET.
If you choose to PLAY, you will choose to play either ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS against the current player. Then, the player who is BETTING can choose to bet on WIN, TIE, or LOSE.
If the player choosing to PLAY wins against the card, they earn a certain amount of chips. During rounds 1~6, you will earn 1 chip; during rounds 7~13 you will earn 2 chips; during rounds 14~17 you will earn 3 chips. If you tie or lose, you earn nothing.
If the player choosing to BET correctly bets on the outcome, they will earn double the chips. However, if they correctly bet on a TIE outcome, they will earn triple the chips. If you incorrectly bet and your opponent WON or LOST, you lose your chips. If you incorrectly bet but your opponent TIED, you get your chips back.

However, there is an additional twist. Players not in the Death Match can submit one of FOUR cards — ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS, or SPONGE. Rock, paper, and scissors function exactly the same way they do normally. However, if you submit SPONGE, you channel Grunkle's energy... Sponge wins against ALL of ROCK, PAPER, and SCISSORS. Basically, if you choose to PLAY against a SPONGE, you are DOOMED.
KYUNGHOON
In this DM, Kyunghoon is looking to TROLL only the DM participants — each DM participant can tell Kyunghoon to go one out of the four options — he will not do that option. Kyunghoon will not listen to any other players' wishes.
RESULTS
You win Betting Rock Paper Scissors Sponge if you have the most chips by the end of the DM. The loser will be eliminated from DOW: The Genius.
However, facing too many SPONGES will give you the POWER OF THE MALD — the player who plays more sponges will be able to eliminate one other player of their choice. The player they choose to eliminate cannot be their DM Opponent, and cannot be anyone who earned immunity in the Main Match. If there is a tie for most sponges faced, the DMO will receive the POWER OF THE MALD.
TIMING
Players have 1 minute per turn, with 5 minutes of reserve time used in 10 second periods.
