Summary
Raise the stakes to get control of the game, and then use those to figure out the opponent’s words!
Background knowledge
This game requires you to know how Wordle works, and also the standard ranking of 5 card poker hands.
Gameplay
Before the game starts, both players are asked to select 5 secret words, each of which must be from the wordle answer list.
After both players have selected their word, Joker, as the player with more priority, will choose the player to start betting in the first hand.
This game will use a standard 52 card deck, called poker deck and a deck consisting of 9 cards with values 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4; called betting deck.
Both players start with 100 chips.
Betting
First, both players are privately given 5 cards from the poker deck.
The starting player then selects one of the not yet used cards from the betting deck and up to 10 chips to bet on the hand.
After that, starting with the second player, players alternate either Raising or Stopping.
Raising the stakes involves increasing the current bet by at most 10. A player can’t bet more chips than they have.
Stopping finishes the betting process.
After one of the players has stopped, both players get a chance to mulligan any number of cards they were given. Players choose which cards to mulligan in private, and then the host reveals how many cards were chosen publicly. The chosen cards are then discarded and the players are given new cards from the poker deck.
After mulligans are complete, the player who didn’t stop will choose whether the higher or lower hand will win this hand. The hands are revealed and the player with the higher/lower poker hand wins the hand.
⚠️ If the player didn’t stop and lost the hand, they lose the amount of chips they bet.
If a player drops to 0 chips, they immediately lose the DM.
Guessing
The winner of the poker hand will then have a number of wordle guesses equal to the betting card selected.
To guess, publicly say which of the 5 words you want to guess and what the word is. The host will respond with what the colors of the letters are, and then you guess another word (if you still have guesses remaining).
After the player guesses the required amount, the poker deck is shuffled and a new hand starts. The loser of the last hand becomes the starting player for the new hand.
Game End

This player loses the DM and is eliminated. The other players gets to advance and gets 20 garnets.
Time controls
⚠️ The time controls for this game are quite strict.
Players will have 1 minute to select their starting word.
Joker will have 30 seconds to select the first player.
Each betting turn is 10 seconds long. The host will give a 3 second warning. If you don’t submit in time, you are assumed to Stop.
Players will have 30 seconds to mulligan their cards. If you don’t submit, you don’t mulligan any.
A player will have 30 seconds to choose higher or lower. If you don’t submit, the option that makes you lose is chosen.
A player will have 30 seconds to guess a word.
There will be a 1 minute downtime between hands to shuffle the deck and to deal new hands. A player can only request a break during this downtime
