In this Death Match, players aim to fill a tank with water to the brim without knowing the exact volume of water.
The death match will be played in 3 bouts. The DMO (Heater) picks who starts Bout 1. The player who most recently lost a bout will pick the starting player in Bouts 2 & 3.
On their turn, each player will privately submit to add 1-3 cups of water into the tank. As the water level rises, specific markings on the tank can be read. These markings are, however, an estimate and are thus represented by a fixed range of values. (eg: When 11 cups of water have been poured in the jug, the "11-15" marking will be shown, along with the lower valued markings). The jug has a maximum capacity of 20 cups of water.
For every 7 cups of water they add within a bout, the player will publicly receive one sponge. On their turn, instead of adding water, the player may privately spend one sponge to remove one cup of water from the tank.
Thus, it is publicly revealed when a player receives a sponge, but not when they use it. Sponges do not carry over to future bouts.
There are two ways for a bout to end:
Each player has 30 seconds to make a submission. If a player exceeds this time limit, they will receive a strike.
If a player receives five strikes, they lose the Death Match.
Example of Starting Board

Example of Board when a player has attained a sponge (shown publicly, but the sponge stays on the graphic regardless of if you use the sponge or not)

*Graphic should show 6-10, 11-15 (will be correct during the dm)
The water levels are:
0-5
6-10
11-15
16-20

Time Controls:
After you exceed the first 30s and get a strike, if you miss another 30s within the same period, you will get another strike (and another after another 30s), until you submit. This is to stop any game stalling.
