The Genius Horse-Racing commission is SICK and TIRED of rigged horse races leaking pre-determined results via convoluted clues given to random people (see Scamming Horse Race in the Genius Season 1). In order to make these races fair to all bettors, they vow to post all clues to these horse race results publicly instead! This will surely lead to a fair, predictable outcome.
However, though all clues might be public, there still might be some room for confusion, especially if other people start making up their own clues and posting them on the bulletin board...
In Open Horse Race, players will try to bet on the number 1, 2, and 3 horses based on clues given for a publicly-posted logic puzzles, while making up their own clues to mislead other players.
Rounds 🏁
"Open Horse Race" will have twelve horses competing in a race across four rounds. The results of this "race" are predetermined.
In Round 1, the names of all the horses will be revealed. This will be a round with very little information available.
In Round 2, six clues to the horse's final placements will be revealed, with additional fake clues of the players mixed in.
In Round 3, four more clues to the horse's placements will be shown, plus fakes.
In Round 4, two final clues will be shown (plus fakes).
Players will be able to determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place horses when using all twelve clues.
However, it might not be possible to fully solve horse placements even with all the real clues.
Additionally, in graphics, the horses will "move" 0 to 8 spaces across the board every round.
After Round 4, the horse the furthest right will be 1st, and the horse furthest left will be last...
Each horse will be on a distinct square.
Betting 💸 💸 💸
Every player and guest starts the game with 40 chips.
In each round, players and guests can submit bets on any number of horses, but can only bet up to a maximum of 12 chips per round.
The amount of chips bet on horses 1-12 will be public at the beginning of each round.
You can also bet on horses -1, -2, -3, and -4.
While the quantity of chips bet on these horses will be revealed, the identity of who bet chips on them will not be revealed.
These horses don't exist. They don't have placements in the race and cannot win. Don't worry about it.
Fake Clues ❓
For Rounds 1, 2, and 3, players and guests can submit fake clues that will be mixed in with the real ones during the following rounds (2, 3, and 4). You get one free fake clue at the start of the game.
Otherwise, a player or guest must either spend 2 chips or 2 garnets in order to post an additional fake clue. There is no limit on the number of fake clues you can request during a round, so request responsibly.
Guests 👨👨👨👨
There are four guests in the game. Guests follow mostly the same rules as the players (the rules listed here)
but are subject to some additional rules and win conditions. Good luck!
Summary ✅
Ending 👍
For point scoring, we will use a very simplified calculation of odds. For every chip a player bets on a horse that placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, they will earn (all chips not bet on that horse) points, not including chips bet on the suspicious negative horses.
The guest with the most points will earn a prize.
The guest with the least points will have their ego bruised.
The player with the most points wins the game will earn 3 garnets and 1 token of life.
The player with the least points becomes EC and will have to choose one of the two non-safe players to take to the death match.

This prize mission is special. It will be revealed after two rounds.
Here is a sample clue:
Horse 0 places before Horse 3582.
However, clues might not necessarily all follow the above format.
