The 6th MM is called Please Hug Me.
The goal of this game will be to achieve the goal of the role assigned to you. There will be 3 roles, from 3 teams, given out to the 8 of you at the start of the game:
Each round, you will send 4 people to “the Shadow Realm” to be evaluated. Each round, you have 3 votes to cast. These votes will be made public, and they can not be cast on the same person in a round (I can’t vote for Red to go to the Shadow Realm twice in the same round), nor can you cast a vote on the same person in consecutive rounds. The top 4 vote getters will go to the Shadow Realm, and there will be a public announcement that will follow these guidelines.
Note that we will just state the name of a team, along the lines of “The Shadow Realm has spoken the word ’Slifer'”. It won’t be in the form of “The majority of players in the Shadow Realm is ‘Slifer’”, or “The team with no players in the Shadow Realm is ‘Slifer’”.
After 4 rounds of sending players to the Shadow Realm, there will be one final decisive round. As "part 1" of the final round so to say, people will mutually consent to being paired. Once people who have consensual, mutual pairings finalize (no takebacks on pairings once again), we will have "part 2" of the final round, where players who have not paired send in proposals, or priority lists. You will rank the 7 other contestants (not yourself) from most wanting to pair to least wanting to pair. Once these lists are submitted, they can not be taken back.
There is a problem called the "stable roommate" problem, and with all proposals, we will pair people up using this method (Irving's algorithm I believe it's called). I may write something up later, or you can find articles/youtube videos explaining the problem and solution. This is being implemented to help the case of "deadlock", as we will be using the algorithm to put people into pairs.
Once everyone has paired with one another, everyone’s role will be revealed. Those who achieved their role’s objective will win. Those who don’t will be declared the “losers” of this MM. Each winning player will receive a ToL, and 10 garnets.
This round, we will do something different. Winners will use their garnets to decide the EC. Each player may place any number of their garnets of any of the losers. The player with the most garnets placed on them will become the EC. That person will then pick an opponent from those who are not immune to face off with in the Death Match. If only 2 players have not reached their goal, then those 2 will be sent to the DM automatically (this also means there would be no garnet betting for the EC). The garnets you bet on to decide the EC will not be returned back to you.* You are essentially spending your own garnets to choose the EC.
Usual pregame is 24 hours here. Good luck players. (I really hope this works). There is a time limit of 24 hours per round, forgot to add.
