In this Death Match, players will place poker cards on bingo boards to make the strongest poker hands for each row, column, and diagonal.
Fun fact: The terrible and corrupt Dog's name is NOT Bingo. It is Poker!
There is a deck that consists of 10 sets of cards numbered from 1 - 10 (ranks) for a total of 100 cards. There are five suits and two sets of ten per suit. The five unranked suits are Red Collars, Green Frisbees, Blue Houses, Yellow Treats, and White Bones. Note that this means there are two of each card, i.e. two 1 of Red Collars, two 3 of Green Frisbees, two 10 of Yellow Treats, and so on.

Each player controls two 5x5 square grids, labeled L1, R1, L2 and R2 (Player 1 controls L1 and R1, and Player 2 controls L2 and R2).

The game takes place over 5 rounds, each with 10 turns.
At the beginning of each round, each player draws 10 cards from the remaining deck. The cards drawn are visible to both players. Each turn, players will privately select 1 card from their hand and simultaneously place this card into an unoccupied cell of one of their 5x5 grids; this will be revealed at the end of the turn. Then, they will pass the remaining cards to the other player and repeat the process (select 1 and privately place) and continue until the drawn hands of 10 cards are exhausted.
The process then repeats four more times for a total of five rounds.
The players’ grids will be divided into 24 poker hands for scoring. Each row, column, and diagonal will be considered a hand. These hands are then compared against the opponent’s corresponding hands. For example, L1’s column A hand will be compared against L2’s column A hand, and R1’s top left to bottom right diagonal will be compared against R2’s top left to bottom right diagonal. The player with a better hand along this comparison will score 1 point. (If the hands are tied, no point is scored).
There are 13 different hand rankings in this game.
A higher priority hand will always supersede a lower priority hand and will always win against a lower priority hand.
Note: These hand rankings are distinct from classic poker. For example, there are new hands like “Rainbow,” and due to card hand frequency discrepancies, a Flush is a higher-ranked hand than a Four of a Kind.
If there are two hands with the same hand ranking, the rank of the cards participating in the hand ranking will be compared. The hand with the higher applicable rank wins.
If this is tied, the highest ranked card that is not participating in the hand ranking will be compared.
If this is still tied then the next highest ranked card that is not participating in the hand ranking will be compared, and so on.
If the tie cannot be broken after this, the hands will be deemed a tie.
Here are a few examples for tiebreakers:
Players will have 1 minute to take their turns plus 5 minutes of reserve time, used in 10 second increments. If you run out of time, you automatically lose Poker Bingo.
The player with a higher score wins the Death Match.
If the players’ scores are tied, then their worst hands are compared. If this is still tied, their next worst hands are compared, and so on.
If after all "worst hands" are compared and to astonishing disbelief this remains tied, the Death Match Opponent wins the Death Match.
The winner of Poker Bingo will stay in the game and earn 2 garnets for their victory.
The loser of Poker Bingo becomes the seventh eliminated player from The Genius: Cosmic Banquet.
