Main Match 5: Passing Cards.
In this main match, players will be passing around cards with names of fellow players, trying to get a group of people to collect a set of 9 unique cards to win the match!
Rules:This match consists of multiple rounds, each lasting 24 hours.
Players will start the game with 3 cards, each having their own name on them. During the course of the game players will exchange these cards 1 for 1.
At the start of every round, all players will be randomly arranged in a new 10-cycle, which won't be announced to the players.
Players will be given names of the 2 people ahead of them in the cycle. Note that these two players will be different from the two players in the previous round.
A player can choose one of those two players to force a trade with them, or choose to pass and not force either.
A player can use a garnet to see who will be the 2 people they can force to trade a round in advance.
In the following round, players will be notified who forced them to trade. In that round they must choose a card to give to each of those who forced them, and to the player they themselves forced. If a player does not submit, a random card from their hand is chosen, but the names of other players are prioritized.
To end the game, there must exist a group of 3 people who have 9 unique cards. Those 3 players become eligible for victory, and to do so they must state 2 other people, together with which the group holds 9 unique cards.
If the game end claim is unsuccessful, the guesser loses a garnet.
If the game end claim is successful, all players that made a successful claim will receive 1 ToL and 3 garnets each.
The EC is the player whose name does not appear on the 9 unique cards.
Edge Cases:If a player is both holding a ToL and is supposed to be EC, their ToL is nullified and they become EC.
If there are multiple ECs, all players that have a ToL hold a majority vote.
If the game lasts more than 10 days, the amount of unique cards necessary to end the game reduces by 1 every following day.
If the game lasts more than 14 days, the game ends and the player who traded the least amount of times is EC.
ADMINISTRATIONTiming
The game lasts a maximum of 15 days, but it is very likely to end earlier. First 24 hours are the pregame, then every other 24 hour period makes a round.
Submissions
In Round 1 you need to submit only who to challenge out of the given options, if any.
In all future rounds, you will need to submit who to challenge as well as which cards you are giving to whom.
In any round you can submit a group of 3 to claim the end of the game.
