The game is played over a number of rounds until a player wins and ends the game.
In a rare case where no player is able to win, the game will automatically end after 10 rounds.
Players will be controlling 2 pieces on a hexagonal grid, shown below.

✏️ For the first round only, choose which one of your pieces will become odd and which will become even. Odd pieces will be represented by circles, and even pieces will be represented by squares.
✏️In each round, you can move each piece up to 3 spaces in a straight line. You can move less than 3 spaces and you can stay in place if you wish to.
However, you may not move onto a space already occupied by another player. Additionally, you may not move through any player pieces.
To move, name the coordinate you want to move to for each piece.
Coordinates will be formatted as a letter, which represents the row from top to bottom, followed by a number. For example, the center coordinate in the top row is A3, the rightmost coordinate in the center row is E9, and the bottom left coordinate is I1.

If multiple pieces want to move to the same space, neither of them will move.
Additionally, players may spend 1 :Garnet: for one of the following movement bonuses:
Players may only use one movement bonus per turn, and they may only use each type of movement bonus once during the Main Match.
At the end of the round, all new piece positions are revealed.
All pieces that are next to each other form a party. The size of the party is the number of pieces in that party.
If the size of the party is 1 or 2, no pieces score in it.
If the size of the party is at least 3 and is odd, then all odd pieces score.
If the size of the party is at least 3 and is even, then all even pieces score.
Players then receive points based on how well they scored.
If neither of their pieces scores, the player's score doesn’t change.
If only one piece scores, the player gets 1 point.
If both pieces score, the player gets 3 points.
The game can only end if a player gets enough points and then scores one of their pieces on the victory space.
If a player has 4 points or more, then the very center space of the board becomes a victory space for them. Placing either piece on that space and scoring with that piece will end the game with that player’s victory.
After that, for every 3 points scored, another ring will also become victory spaces for that player.
For example, at 7 points the middle 7 spaces become victory spaces and at 16 points every single space becomes a victory space.
Note that you need to have enough points before scoring on a victory space to win.
If you are at 3 points, occupy the middle space and score 1 more point that doesn’t win the game. If you score once more, then the game will end, as you gained the 4 points required to win on the middle space.
Additionally, whether the other piece scores or not is irrelevant to ending the game.
The game ends after a player scores with a piece on a victory space, or after 10 rounds.
:ToL: If only 1 player ends the game, they get 2 garnets and 2 ToLs.
:ToL: If 2 players end the game in the same round, both players get 1 garnet and 1 ToL each.
If 3 or more players end the game at the same time, no ToLs are given out. All players tying for the win get 1 garnet.
If the game lasts 10 rounds, no ToLs are given out.
:EC: The player with the least points is the EC. Ties are broken by the winners.
