Perspective

In Perspective, players have to find where they are on a 2D grid based on a 3D view of their surroundings.

This game was played in the Game of Blood series under the name Maze Code.

The Game

The Death Match consists of up to 12 rounds and a tiebreaker round. In each round, the Death Match duelists will be shown a 2D grid along with a 3D view of their surroundings. The same 2D grid will be used for 3 rounds. In other words, a new 2D grid will be given every 3 rounds.

At any point, you may publicly submit a coordinate on the 2D grid that you think matches the 3D view.

If you are correct, you score 2 points and the round immediately ends.

If you are incorrect, you lose 1 point and the round continues. You may still answer if you wish.

If after 8 minutes neither player submits a correct answer, the round ends with neither player scoring any points.

Winning

Players can win under any of the following conditions.

✅ You are the first player to reach 11 points.

✅ You have the most points at the end of round 12.

✅ If after 12 rounds the points are tied, a tiebreaker round will be given where you either win the Death Match by submitting a correct answer or lose the Death Match by submitting an incorrect answer.

Example

A correct answer would be F3 . (The grid size may be different during the actual Death Match.)

Black spaces are walls and white spaces are paths.
