In Human Pyramid, players will compete to form pyramids in order to score points.

The game will take place over four rounds. Every round, players will choose a numbered box on the pyramid below.

✅ If all the boxes below the number you choose are filled, then you score that number of points, divided by the number of players who also choose your number. This score will be rounded to two decimal places.

✅ If all the boxes below the number you choose are not filled, you will lose that number of points (though your score cannot go below zero). The penalty number will be divided by the number of players who choose your box.

✅ A box is considered “below” a target box if you can reach it by following any number of lines going downwards from the target. For example, squares 36, 50, 30, 24, 20, 8, 0, 12, and 3 are all below the "100" square.

✅ A box is “filled” when at least one player chooses that box.

✅ No scores will be given each round. Boxes will be colored as follows...

  • ⬛ black for a square that is filled with no one scoring, and/or has one player scoring
  • 🟩 green for a square that is filled where two or more players scored
  • 🟥 red for a square at least one player chose and did not score points with
  • 🟨 unfilled squares unchosen by players remain yellow.

After each round, the players with the top three highest score totals will be told in private that they "are at the top of the pyramid." The players with the bottom three score totals will be told privately they are "at the bottom of the pyramid." No other information is shared.

Items

You may purchase "Blocks" for one garnet each.

You can use a "Block" on any space on the pyramid. When a “Block” is used on a space, the space will be treated as “filled.”

"Blocks" have no effect on scoring.

Winning

After four rounds, all scores are revealed.

All players who score at least twenty points will receive one garnet. All players who score at least thirty points will receive two garnets instead of one. The winning player will receive three garnets regardless of points.

The player who has the most points wins the game and earns three tokens of life.

They will keep one for themself and give two others to any player not in last place.

The last place player will be elimination candidate and must take a player without a token of life to the Death Match.

If at least 2 players score with the 999 space, the prize pool increases by $10.00. (They may score on the same round, or on different rounds)
