Spend your 3 votes to end up with an odd number of votes for a ToL!
Designer(s): stealthhack | Match Type: MM (for 13 players) |
Featured in: Genius Online: Deadly Influx |
The first MM is called Odds End.
Everyone will have 3 votes that can be used throughout the whole game. Note that these votes can not be taken back once submitted. You can use all 3 votes at once or may use them one at a time. You may vote for yourself all three times, you can vote someone else 3 times, or vote 3 separate people including yourself and many other possibilities. You will submit your votes when you wish in your submissions channel. But once again, be aware that once you submit a vote, it will be permanent and can not be taken back.
The objective of the game is to not end with an odd number of votes. Those who end with an even number of votes will earn a ToL, and garnets equal to the number of votes they have received.
Person or persons with an odd number of votes will become the loser(s) of this main match. Also, people with zero votes will become losers. Second also, player who do not submit all three votes will also become losers (This is essentially your “pulse/activity check” for the round). All losers will just receive a garnet.
The winner(s) will choose a DM candidate from the pool of losers, and the selected player will then choose someone that is not immune to bring with them in to the Deathmatch, where one of them will become the first eliminated contestant of The Genius: Deadly Influx.
Especially for this MM (but in the game in general), please do not delete any messages. We will record your submissions, and keep track of how many votes you have submitted.
The game will last 72 hours: the first 24 hours (WHICH STARTS NOW) will be a sort of “pre-game” where you can discuss the game with fellow contestants and ask questions to the dealers. You may not submit any votes during this period of time. After those 24 hours, you will have 48 hours to submit all your votes. This can be all at once, or submitting a vote 3 different times. Good luck to all!
We will announce when multiples of 10 votes will have been submitted (10 votes, 20 votes, 30 votes)
Since it's been brought up, if the situation comes up where every one of you have an odd number of votes, we will randomize the EC.
Semi-live MM (The game is a Main Match that is overall non-live but may have real-time elements, such as queries that the hosts respond to immediately.)
Voting (The game involves players voting as a mechanic.)
