In Line Gravity, players will compete in two matches on a 6x6 board to earn the highest score.
Each game has two phases.
In the Setup Phase, players will place their opponent's pieces on the board. Players will alternate selecting columns in which to place their opponent's pieces. Gravity will be downwards during this phase, which means the pieces will move downwards until they are at the bottom of the board or on top of another piece.
Once all spaces on the board are filled, we will enter the Clearing Phase. On a player's turn, they will clear their own pieces, then change the gravity of the board. A player must first remove any number of their pieces in a diagonal, vertical, or horizontal line. A player earns points depending on how many pieces they removed in a turn.
After the board settles, players then must set the gravity. Gravity can be set to up, down, left, or right. All pieces will move in the direction a player sets gravity to, until they hit the edge of the board or another piece.
The game ends when all of a player's pieces are removed from the board.
Two games will be played in this Duel, with a different starting player for each game.
The player with the best total score after both games will win and advance to Trial 7 of the Gambit Game.
