Triangle Auction

In this Main Match, bid on planks of various side lengths to assemble the highest-scoring triangle.

You and four other players will compete to assemble the largest perimeter triangle out of lengths that will be put up for sale.

Each player has a 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 block. You may bid on a length by placing one of those blocks in front of you. Even if you lose the bid, the block you place in front of you will be consumed.

Someone may outbid you by placing a block with a value higher than yours in front of them.

If they place the same value block in front of them as the one you just did, the auction is cancelled and no one receives that length. .

We will be selling planks valued 1 to 21 in 3 randomly determined lots. After we have finished auctioning off each lot, you will have a brief break.

Point Scoring

-> Each player's score is the perimeter of their triangle...

-> x2 if the player manages to construct an isosceles triangle

-> x4 if the player manages to construct an equilateral triangle

-> all lengths you possess must be used to complete your triangle. otherwise your triangle will be considered incomplete

-> If no players can complete a triangle, the player whose blocks remaining sums to the highest value is the winner

You may combine lengths and your triangle must be mathematically valid.

The player with the highest score wins two tokens of life and 5 garnets.

Note: If your triangle is incomplete or mathematically invalid (you cannot form a triangle with the sides you have) then your score will be 0.

Triangle pieces cannot overlap when a triangle is put together.
