Dim Sums

In Dim Sums, players will strategically order dishes from a restaurant menu and earn points by predicting other players’ orders.

The match will last 4 rounds. Players will have 15 minutes each round to privately submit an order for a menu item numbered from 0 to 100.

• Orders 0-49 are Dumplings
• Orders 50-79 are Noodles
• Orders 80 -100 are Seafood

Players will then attempt to guess how many players ordered the same food type as themselves. This is done by each player putting their order inside a private box and selecting a location for their box on the table. A player may place their box in the 1 person, 2 person, 3 to 5 person, or 6 to 7 person section. Players will receive a different amount of points for a successful guess depending on their prediction.

A correct guess of...

• 1 person earns 5 points
• 2 people earns 3 points
• 3-5 people earns 2 points
• 6-7 people earns 1 point

After all orders have been made and placed on the table, every order will be revealed and scoring will be calculated.

First, every players' order numbers will be summed and averaged. The player whose order number is closest to the average will receive an additional 3 points. If multiple players have the closest average order number then they will split the points evenly, with any remainders being discarded.

A player may spend 2 light spheres to either poison or preserve a food category. A preserved food category cannot be poisoned that round.

Any player who orders a poisoned category of food in a round will be announced to have food poisoning. After 4 rounds, any player who never had food poisoning will receive 2 extra points.

All players will receive 1 Light Sphere for every 4 points earned, up to a maximum of 6 spheres.

After 4 rounds, the player with the most points receives 2 Marks Of Victory.

The player with the least points will be First Duelist and must select someone to take to the duel.
