Here are some potential rules for a game called "Open, Pass — Heaven and Hell" that is designed to emulate the game "Open, Pass," with a twist involving the themes of heaven and hell.
This Main Match has two distinct phases: the deck-building phase and the playing phase.
The deck-building phase takes place over 3 rounds, during which players attempt to craft the perfect Open, Pass deck to use. They then play with this deck during the playing phase to try to attain the best score.
At the start of the Main Match, players are each given the standard set to use in their decks: these are 3 1s, 3 2s, 3 3s, as well as 3 plus symbols and 3 minus symbols.
[YellOw] and [Impact] will each be stationed in the Grand Hall, being the Heaven Dealer and the Hell Dealer, respectively.
During the deck-building phase, players submit to either take Heaven or Hell packs. Each round, there will be 6 unique packs available to choose. These are:
Each player submits up to 2 packs to bid on. If a pack is selected an odd number of times, all players who selected it gain a copy. If a pack is selected an even number of times, none of the players who selected it gain a copy.
However, if every single pack is selected an odd number of times, this implies a level of social harmony that simply cannot exist in Genius ORGs and thus no packs are distributed to any players.
Players who fail to obtain even a single pack in a round earn a single consolation pity card instead to make sure they have something to cry themselves to sleep with.
As a general rule, the Mega Packs have more cards compared to the Basic Packs. The Special Packs have less cards compared to the Basic Packs, but have more valuable cards.
The playing phase takes place over the last 48 hours. Players can either schedule a time to play "Open, Pass" live, or simply do it non-live over a series of hours. They must also choose whether they want [YellOw] to deal or [Impact] to deal. Then, they will play "Open, Pass" with a deck of their choosing. This deck must be exactly 20 cards in size. If you do not have enough cards to get to 20, your submitted deck will be padded with division symbols to pad your deck to 20.
A refresher on the rules of "Open, Pass" follows:
Your submitted deck will be shuffled by the dealer robot of their choice. Then, the dealer will deal cards from the shuffled deck one-by-one. Each time a card is dealt, the player may choose to "open" the card or "pass" on the card. Choosing to open the card means adding it to the left of the current equation. Choosing to pass on the card means discarding it completely. You may only open up to 10 cards maximum. If you have already opened 10 cards and there are still more cards to deal from your deck, all of these cards will automatically be passed.
After your equation is built, it is evaluated from left-to-right order to generate your score. For example, if your equation is 9-1x2, then your score is (9-1)x2 = 16. If multiple number or symbol cards are adjacent to each other, the only number or symbol card that is valid is the leftmost one. If a symbol is at the rightmost of the equation, it is ignored. If a symbol is at the leftmost of the equation, a 0 is appended before.
For example, if your 10 cards are "+ 3 1 x 9 x 2 - 2 x", then your equation is understood as "0 + 3 x 9 x 2 - 2" which evaluates to 52.
The player with the best score wins 3 Tokens of Life. The player with the second and third best score both win 1 Token of Life. The three players with the worst scores are ECs. All ties for points are broken randomly.
Here are what the basic cards look like on the front. Yes I made this in 2 minutes.
This is the basic card back.

Clarification: If multiple symbol cards are adjacent to each other, the only symbol card that is valid is the leftmost one.
