The 2nd game of the finals is Black Hole.

This is an original game not seen in The Genius. In Black Hole, you will be playing numbers on a board in an attempt to lose the least amount of points when the Black Hole forms at the end.

To start, Black Hole will be played on a board with 21 spaces in a triangular formation. Each space will be represented by a letter to easily indicate where you want to place your pieces.

Each player will receive pieces, labelled from 1 to 10, in their own unique color. These will be the pieces you will be slotting into the board.

Players will place their pieces one after another, in the order of the numbers presented. In this example, the red player will place their one, followed by the blue player’s one, then the red player’s two, and so on.

The players will keep placing their pieces until all twenty of the pieces are placed. This will leave one open spot left - this spot will be known as the Black Hole.

The Black Hole will ‘suck in’ all pieces adjacent to it. This will end the game, and the pieces’ total values will be tallied up. The player who has a lower total will be crowned the winner of the match.

Black Hole will be played throughout three rounds, and the player who gets to two wins first will be crowned the winner.

In addition, there are three items able to be used in Black Hole. The first is the Start Choice. The player who has this item must use it for the first game, and will decide which player goes first and which goes second. Additionally, it can be cloned and used again- if not, the player who lost the prior game will choose who starts for the next.

The second item is the Mulligan. This allows a player to re-do their move in the events they are not happy with it. It must be done before the next player places their piece down.

The final item is the Minus One. The player who has this item may use it to subtract one from their total score at the end of any of the Black Hole games.

Seven gave the Start Choice item to Taka, America gave the Mulligan item to Eugh, and Piggy gave the Minus One item to Taka.

Additionally, the players will be allowed 15 minutes to strategize with a guest who supported them. They are making that decision now.

The eleventh Death Match is…

Black Hole.

Black Hole will be played throughout two rounds, and each round will be played on a board with 21 spaces in a triangular formation. Each space will be represented by a letter to easily indicate where players would like to place their pieces.

Each player will receive ten pieces, labelled from 1 to 10, in their own unique color. These will be the pieces slotted into the board.

Players will place their pieces one after another, in the order of the numbers going higher in value.

This means a minimum of two pieces (in the event that the Black Hole is in a corner) to a maximum of six pieces can be sucked into the Black Hole. This will end the round, and each of the numbers sucked in will be tallied and added to each player’s individual score. Players are trying to have the lowest score, so the less of their own numbers that are sucked into the Black Hole, the better.

With a Hacked Garnet, a player may use the power of Time Crunch. At the start of one of the two rounds, a player can use this to significantly cut the time their opponent can use to think. Instead of 90 seconds per turn, they will only be given 45. This effect cannot stack, but it can be used during both turns.

After both rounds have finished up, total scores across both games will be tallied for each individual player. Whichever player has the lower score overall will be deemed the winner of the Death Match, and move onto the next round. In the event of a tie, a run-off game will be played. The losing player will be the eleventh eliminated contestant of The Genius: Code Breakers.
