This main match will consist of five rounds.
In each round, you will choose another player's "cluster" to join. Each player will gain one point for each member of their cluster, plus the players in the cluster will score points according to the following table.
For example, if players A, B, and C join player D's cluster, A, B, and C will each score 6 points for forming a cluster of size 3, and player D will score 3 points for forming the cluster.
At the end of each round, the sizes of all formed clusters will be revealed, but not the makeup of those clusters. Players may spend 5 to discover the list of players whose clusters were non-empty in the prior round.
In addition, during each round, a player may spend one to adjust their personal score for the round by 1 in a favorable direction. For example, if a player spending a garnet was the only player in their cluster, they would be scored as though they were in a size-2 cluster. If they were in a size-5 cluster, they would be scored as though they were in a size-4 cluster.
At the end of the fifth round, four will be given out.
1-2) The two players with the most total points. 3) The player who scored the most points from cluster size. 4) The player who scored the most points from players joining their cluster.
If any of these are tied, all tied players will receive TOLs unless this would cause the total number of TOLs to exceed 6, in which case TOLs will be tiebroken by total points - > points gained from players joining your cluster.
The player with the least total points will become the EC
If there is a tie for the EC, the player with the most total points will decide which of the tied players is the EC.
The top 3 players in total points will receive 3 and 15
The 4th-6th place players will receive 1 and 10
The 7th-9th place players will receive 5
A non-submission will be scored as joining the cluster of the player immediately before you in alphabetical order, wrapping around from A -> Z
What if a cluster larger than 9 forms?
You may consider the line that says "9" to say "9 or more"
