There are two parts to Hap & White.
In part 1, each player will complete 8 Gyul Hap Boards individually in their submissions channel. You can do boards by issuing commands ?board1 ?board2 ?board3... etc.
Gyul Hap
A Gyul Hap board is a 3 by 3 grid of 9 tiles, each with 3 attributes - shape (circle triangle square), background (black gray white), and color (red blue yellow).
These will not be numbered, but the numbering on the grid goes like so when calling haps:
1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ 4️⃣5️⃣6️⃣ 7️⃣8️⃣9️⃣
A "hap" is when three pieces on the board have either all the same, or all different of an attribute for all attributes. For example,
has a hap of 126 as all of the tiles have a different shape, color, and background. 135 is also a hap, as all the pieces have a different shape and color, as well as all share the same background. 249 is not a hap as while they all have different shapes and all share the same background, they do not all have the same/different color.
You can call gyul when there are no more haps on the board. The number of haps in each board is unspecified.
If you call Gyul, the timing on your board ends. If you called Gyul having included an incorrect hap, or Gyul with haps missing, then 400 seconds will be added to your time.
Then, each player's times will be ordered from fastest to slowest (in seconds). Tiles numbered from 1 to 16 will be given to players based on how fast their time was.
The player with the fastest puzzle solve time will be given 16, the second fastest 15, the third fastest 14... and so on.
Part 2: Value Black and White (Goofspiel)
After seeing the results of the tiles awarded, players will decide whether to proceed to the Black and White round or concede the match.
In the Black and White/Goofspiel round players will use those tiles to bid on cards worth 1 points, 2 points, 3 points, 4 points, 5 points, 6 points, 7 points, and 8 points. The cards available will be random.
There will be 3 rounds of bidding (if live) where 2 cards will be available to bid on the first 2 rounds, and 4 cards available on the last round. The first player to reach 18 points or above wins the game.
Addendum: If both players go over 18 points at the same time, the Black and White game is played again, but with only 1 card to bid on every round for 8 rounds.
