In this game, players will pass a basketball around a circle, in order to create as many regions as possible.

Passing Lanes will take place on a circular board, with 8 circles representing 8 different passers, each notated by a letter. The 8 passers equally divide the circle into 8 identical segments.

The DMO may choose if they wish to go first or second. The player going first must choose with which passer the passing will begin. The passer who has most recently received the ball is called the current passer.

On each turn, a player must pass the ball to another passer from the current passer. You may not establish a connection that is already on the board.

After establishing a connection, the amount of "regions" that have a side composed of your new connection is evaluated, and you earn that amount of points. A "region" is defined as a polygonal area without any secant lines intersecting it.

The game ends once it is a player's turn and no legal moves remain. At the end of the game, the player with more points wins the DM.

For the purposes of science, here are all the possible connections:

Each player will have 1 minute per turn to make their move, and an additional 5-minute time bank. If you completely deplete your time bank before the end of the game, you will automatically lose the DM.

The normal restrictions of no external tools apply. You may take notes during this DM.

Clarification: If the DM ends in a tie, another bout of the game will be played, with the players going first and second switched. If the second bout also ends in a tie, then the DMO will win.
