MM7: Gold's 3-Game Party Pack (4 Players)

This main match is live and will be played over 8 rounds of 10 minutes.

The 4 players will play 3 simple games at the same time each round. These games will each last a maximum of 8 rounds, but some of them can end early. Each game will have a winner determined; once every single game ends, the sole player with no game wins will become the EC. If a player wins a game but they already won another game, then the highest ranking player who has not won a game will win that game instead. A sole TOL will be granted to the player that has the highest average placement out of the players who won a game. Ties for TOLs are broken by:

  1. Number of 1st place games
  2. Whoever won their game the quickest
  3. Garnet gained during the MM

If all tiebreak conditions are a tie, then the TOL vanishes.

Each game will have a method of earning garnets, and additionally placing first in a game will grant you an item in the finals.

The rules for each respective minigame are below. Each game will also take place in their respective rooms.

Game A: Co-Op Tetris

The game is played on a 10 x 12 board. Each player gets two copies of each tetromino, and 50 chips. Every round, each player will drop one of their tetrominoes into the board, indicating which rotation, pattern, and horizontal location they wish to drop it in. They will also pay a certain amount of chips. The order at which the tetrominoes are dropped at is decided by chips paid, with ties being broken by chips remaining, and then garnets. All tetrominoes are affected by gravity, but will not break their pattern even if pieces are hanging on a ledge.

If a full horizontal line is made, every single square on that line will be cleared out, and each player who dropped a square on the line will recieve points equal ot the amount of squares they had in the line that was cleared. After 8 rounds, whichever player has the highest score will win the game. They will also earn 1 garnet every time they are a part of a cleared line. Ties will be broken by amount of lines cleared they were part of, then by garnet count.

However, if a round's placements overfill the board vertically without any gaps, the game ends instantly; the player who placed the overfilling piece cannot win no matter how many points they scored, and the winner will become the next highest scorer. If there is a gap from an overhang, all the squares in that vertical column will break off and drop, being affected by gravity.

Getting 1st place will grant you an item for Final Match 1.

Game B: Racing! Black and White

The game takes place over 8 rounds. Each player is given 8 cards with 0-8 on them; the even numbers and 0 are colored black, and the odd numbers are colored white. Each player also has 3 hearts.

The game is held on a race track that is 36 spaces long. Each round, all players submit one of their cards privately, then claim publicly what they submitted. This can be a lie. The card's colors are revealed for each player, and then players can choose to doubt any claims made by any other player. Whoever calls doubt on any claim will doubt first. If the doubt was successful, the player who made the false claim does not move, and the doubter earns 2 garnets and the player that made the claim loses a heart. If the doubt failed, then the doubter loses a garnet and a heart.

Once a player runs out of hearts, they are removed off the track and cannot doubt anymore. The game ends once a player finishes, all players are removed except one, or 8 rounds pass; whoever finishes or is furthest on the track will win. Ties will be broken by the sum of the cards left, by hearts if that's a tie, and then by whoever currently has more garnets if that is a tie as well.

Game C: Number Bomb Party

The game is played over 1 practice round and 7 real rounds. Each player has 2 hearts, and the play order will be in an alphabetical order for the practice round and the last round's loser first for every upcoming round. The practice round does not lose points.

Each round, a number and a condition is given. The number is an integer value, and the condition is a condition that dictates what a number should follow (ex. Divisible by 2). Then, players take turn in circles offering an equation and an integer. This is then added onto the number. The number will turn into one long equation as the round progresses, and PEMDAS will apply. Players are expected to keep track of the equation's value on their own. (Ex. If the formula currently is 3x7+4, and a player adds x2, then the formula becomes 3x7+4x2 for the next player.)

There are 2 restrictions for offering your symbol/number:

  1. You cannot say a number that has already been said by any other player.
  2. You cannot say the same symbol twice in a row.

If a player offers a symbol/number combo that makes the equation break the condition, runs out of time, or the round timer ends when it is their turn, then they will instantly lose that round and lose a life. A player who loses 2 lives will be eliminated and not play in future rounds. The last player standing will win the game.

The time for each round is 20 seconds at 4 players, 15 seconds at 3, and 10 seconds at 2.

Players will also earn 1 garnet every round if they do not lose a life.

Clarification: Negative integers cannot be submitted for this game. Also, all decimals are rounded to the nearest ones.
