This game will be played until one player has earned 3 "match points" while having more match points than their opponent. If an individual game ends in a draw, each player will receive 0.5 match points for that game, while winning a game awards 1 point. Should both players reach 3.5 match points, we will enter an "armageddon game", where the first player to gain a lead at the end of any round will immediately win the DM. This is extremely unlikely to occur.

The game board consists of three levers, which contain a beaker for each player on the ends. Each player additionally has a flask, which begins each game of the match with 60 ounces of water. A deck of cards consisting of cards numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4 will be shuffled.

During each round of a game, a card from the deck will be dealt onto the center of each lever face-up. Each player then has 90 seconds to privately fill the beakers on their end of the three levers, using as much or as little of the water in their flask as they choose (only non-negative integers may be used). The players' water will be simultaneously revealed, and the player who filled their beaker with more water tips the card from the center into their side of the game board, scoring the stated number of points. Levers resolve from top to bottom of the game board, but all three are submitted at once. In the event of a lever being tied, the point card is discarded.

At the end of each new round, players gain an additional 30 ounces of water in their flask - but a flask can never contain more than 100 ounces of water at any time. Excess water will be wasted. A game ends when a player reaches 30 points, or after 9 rounds, whichever comes first.

At the start of each game, the deck will be reshuffled, and the board reset to its starting position (0 points and 60 ounces for each player).
