Unfortunately, the Space Race has resulted in great tensions between Momoi and Catopia. The cold war turns into a hot war as the the nations go to battle against one another.

The final five deathmatch will be:

Third Person Shooter

In Third Person Shooter, players will take turns placing soldiers in a series of narrow corridors on a grid such that no soldiers are in each other's line of fire.

There are two types of soldiers that can be placed.

The first type of soldiers are from special forces. They have lines of sight and weapons that go in multiple directions.

They are also limited in quantity.

The other type of soldier is the grunt.

The grunts points in one direction and there's an infinite supply of grunts pointing in each direction.

These soldiers are represented by these pieces below.

The grid will always be a 10x10. Empty squares are light gray, and "walls" will be black. You place a soldier on the grid by saying the letter of the piece, and the coordinates on the grid. For example A-a1, or b-b5. Sample below:

Up to 5 battles will be played during this deathmatch. A battles ends when one player is forced to place a soldier in another soldier's line of fire on the grid; that player loses and the other player wins. A player who wins the game earns 1 point. The first player to 3 points wins the game.

However, there is a twist. On their turn, a player may declare the battle 'Decisive'.

Declaring the battle 'Decisive' means the player who wins that match earns 3 points and thus wins the game.

The other player must decide on their turn whether if they want to take their turn and risk the deathmatch, or "Surrender" and lose 1 point.

As the DMO, Whims will have ten seconds to decide which player will go first after seeing the board. After which, players will alternate sixty second turns. Each player will also have up to 15 minutes of reserve time they may use during the match.
