Rules

This game consists of a pregame and 5 rounds, each lasting 24 hours.

This game uses a deck that consists of 40 cards, with each card being labelled from 1-10 in each of four colors: red, green, blue, and yellow. Additionally, there is a special gray 0 card.

Each round, 8 different cards will be dealt from the deck, along with the gray 0.

All 40 colored cards will appear exactly once over the course of the game.

The gray 0 will persist between rounds until it is taken. As soon as it is taken, it will stop appearing in future rounds.

Players will each take exactly one card from the dealt cards every round. This means that at the end of 5 rounds, every player will have 5 cards. The goal of the game is to have the best 4 card Quattro.

A Quattro is defined as a set of 4 cards where each color and number is unique. The gray 0 has a unique color and a unique value. The score of a quattro is the sum of the cards used.

To determine which player gets what card, players are asked to submit three things in each round: a list of cards they want, a card they want to ban, and a priority number from 1 to 6.

The list of cards you want should list 7 cards, from "most wanted" to "least wanted." From this list, a card will be given to you based on your priority.

This priority will be determined by the priority number you submit.

Players with a unique priority number will pick first, with all unique priority numbers sorted from lowest to highest. Non-unique submissions will pick after them, once again sorted from lowest to highest.

For example, if players submit numbers 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4; then the pick order will be 3, 4, 1, 1, 2, 2.

Ties between players who submitted the same number will be broken using a tie-break list.

The list starts out as tog, Pengu, Grunkle, Dems, Edan, Shard (based on garnet counts).

Players earlier in the list will pick earlier than players later in the list. Winning a tie-break will put you at the bottom of the list for future tie-breaks. That is, if the tie-break list was ABCDE and A won a tie, the list would be updated to BCDEA. If multiple players win a tie-break that round, they are placed at the bottom of the list in reverse order. That is, if the tie-break list was ABCDE and ACD all won ties, the list would be updated to BEDCA.

In addition, the player that submitted the highest unique priority number will be able to ban one card before anyone receives cards. In the previous example with order 3, 4, 1, 1, 2, 2; the player who submitted 4 will be able to ban a card and prevent anyone from picking it up. Please submit the card you want to ban with the list of cards you want.

If no player submitted a unique priority number, no cards are banned.

Game End

After 5 round are complete, the game ends.

The players' best quattros are scored and compared. If a player is unable to make a quattro, their score is 0

:Token: The sole player with the highest scoring Quattro earns a ToL. If scores tie, no ToLs are awarded.

:EC: The two players with the lowest score become EC. In case of a tie, all tied players are EC.

Winning a ToL awards 7 garnets; dodging awards 5; winning a DM awards 3.
