Your 10th Main Match is Market Day
In this game you'll be buying and selling resources to monopolize your assets, and earn a profit
Each player will begin the game with 50 gold, and 15 randomly assorted resources
Over the course of 10 5 minute rounds, each round 1 player will run a shop where they will put up their own resources to sell to everyone else
When running a shop, you must put 2 to 3 items up for sale, with you choosing their selling price, never having a product go above 7 gold for sale.
When selling products, you must have them to be able to sell them.
When buying products, you may only buy 1 item of 1 resource at a time, then you ahve a 1 minute cooldown of buying again in that shop.
Shops are the only way of exchanging gold and resources. There will be no unofficial trades of any kind, nor giving away resources or gold for free.
When buying in a shop, you may haggle the price, however it may only change once in the round, and if the price is changed, it is changed for everyone.
Each round resources will change in market value, either going up or down by 1, or remaining the same.
The total price for one of each will never change off of 30 gold.
Each product will never stray more than 2 away from it's final market value.
Once every round is over, only the people with the most of a certain product can sell it for it's final market value
For example, if someone has 6 apples and another has 5, only the person with 6 apples will be able to exchange it for gold.
1 more thing...
There is another shop open in every round!
Grunkle will have a shop on every round.
It will work the same way as the other shops do, but Grunkle has a different objective.
Grunkle will start with 0 gold, and limited resources, however at the end of each round Grunkle may either sell all of 1 resource for the current round market value, or request a supply drop (which will cost 1 gold) for more resources.
The way for Grunkle to Succeed in his goal is to Have more gold than anyone else at the end of round 10 (Before the final selling of monopolized resources)
If Grunkle fails to succeed, then all of the resources that Grunkle has sold will become meaningless, and not count towards people's inventories.
If Grunkle does succeed, then an extra token of life will be given to Grunkle's Customer of the day! The person to have contributed the most to Grunkle's total gold will get a token of life.
However, Grunkle hates losers, so if you happen to be the EC, you will not get the token, and the 2nd biggest contributor will get the token instead.
The person with the most gold after everything that can be sold is... sold, will win this Main Match and gain 6 garnets, as well as some information about the finals.
Everyone who isn't the EC will gain 2 garnets
The player with the lowest amount of gold will become the Elimination Candidate and must select someone who is not safe to participate in the Death Match with them.
