In this game, players attempt to use elemental spells to best their fellow players.

There are 7 rounds in this game. A player originally starts with 3 fire, 3 water, 3 earth, and 3 air spells.

Each round, a player may submit between 1 and 5 spells. All players’ submissions will be gathered into a giant spell circle, where the spells will interact with each other. The spell that was collectively used the most is considered overloaded and all those spells are lost. The spell that would beat the overloaded spell returns to the owner, tripled. Between the other two spells, the spell that would win the interaction is returned to the owner doubled, while the losing spell is simply returned without any gain or loss. The interaction rules are as follows: water beats fire, fire beats air, air beats earth, and earth beats water.

If there is a tie for the most used spell, it is the second most spell that is overloaded instead. The same is true for a three-way tie. If all four spell types are tied in amount, the round is invalidated and you get the spells you used back.

You may buy a certain type of spell for 2 garnets once per round. This cost increases by 1 every time you buy it.

After 7 rounds, each spell in your inventory is converted into 1 point. Whoever has the most points will win two Tokens of Life. Whoever has the least points will be the Elimination Candidate. In addition, all players will earn 1 garnet for every 20 points they score.
